Those of you who think white flowers are boring will see the error of your ways once you feast your eyes on this beauty. How can you not be entranced by this Columbine that places its buds on short stems above deep, green-blue foliage that open to feature incredibly long spurred, pure white flowers with golden yellow stamens that literally jump off the plant in a partially shaded garden. This big bloom makes even more of an impact when you consider how many of them actually are on the plant from late April to early May…enough to make the plant nearly disappear below the flowers! Great color, great numbers of bloom and great ease of care make ‘Dove’ a ‘must have’ plant for any partial shade garden.
