An outstanding native shrub that supports wildlife in oh so many ways! Upright and strong growing when young, this plant is covered with leathery, deep green foliage. Big, flattened heads of small white flowers cover the plant in late May followed by a show of blue to black berries in late summer and fall. Reddish fall foliage color is showy.
