Control Animal Damage

As a general rule, animals tend to stay away from strong smells and fuzzy/textured foliage. If you know you have problems with rabbits and deer eating everything in your yard, try to plant varieties they don’t like. A few good choices include Yarrow, Salvia, Nepeta, Artemesia, Boxwood, and Lamb’s Ear.

Remember that if the critters are hungry, they will eat ANYTHING! Rabbits especially seem to be an issue this year. If you find this is the case, test out one of the repellents below! It’s also a good idea to switch up the repellents you use regularly so you don’t accidentally encourage animals to build up a tolerance.
